And the flesh that keeps on burning has a fire of a thousand years. A used conflagration, a fire with no colours, just the stillness of a bitter silence and the gaily blooming sounds begin to fade. It is in its veins that the memories come alive, echoing and turning everything to grime.
Old and new.
Ashes to ashes.
Dust to dust.
